Never give someone the power to make you feel disposable. You're more than that. There is no one in this world who should make you feel that you mean nothing. Every part of your being is valuable and your feelings, emotions and time are priceless. When we love someone we sometimes forget that we once survived completely without them in our lives....you know? There was a time when they never even existed and your life kept going. The Earth kept spinning. The Sun kept shining. The stars kept being twinkly. And guess what? All those things are happening even when your heart is broken. Let the pain alter you...let it make you stronger, wiser and put you in a place to (as my good friend Carla said) heal rather than put up walls. But don't let the pain change you. Don't let it make you...well...don't let it make you become the pain-er. Remember the beauty of who you are...alone....as a solitary unit. Accept that you've lost something. But be comforted in the fact that you have so much more. And when someone shows you that they're not worth loving...kindly accept their invitation to find someone who is. Even if that person is just yourself for a while. The definition of love, whether biblical or otherwise, mentions nothing of tears. Dry your eyes ;). He/she simply is not worth the beautiful gift of love you've been given. Walk strong. Alone.
Take my advice. I should know.
if nothing else...just be honest with your self and let it hurt
Sincerely,
@bestnewactress
